Meet Our Pastor


P astor Isaac D. Williams is a native of San Diego, California. He is the youngest of six preaching / pastoring brothers, the son of Dr. R.C. Williams, Sr. and the late Sis. Alma L. Williams. Pastor Williams after graduating from La Jolla High School in 1983, attended San Diego City College. On the 1st of the New Year in 1988 Pastor Williams answered the call to preach the gospel and realizing the first calling is unto preparation, Pastor Williams immediately enrolled in the Linda Vista Bible College. On January 31, 1988 Pastor Williams preached his first sermon and received his license to preach the gospel at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where his father served as pastor. Pastor furthered his education by enrolling in the Williams Chapel Bible College where he received a degree in Biblical Studies. On January 14, 1990 Pastor Williams received his ordination and continued to press towards the mark by enrolling in seminary at Bethel Theological Seminary, and continues his preparation for ministry in the area of Church Planting / Mentoring and Church Leadership at the San Diego School of Theology / Golden Gate Theological Seminary. Pastor Williams often says as the Apostle Paul did, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Phil 3:14 
 
Along with Pastor Williams ministry, he gives total praise to God for his loving family, his lovely wife Deidra LaTrice, his sweet daughter Brittany Monet, and son like father Timothy Jacob. Pastor Williams' family continues to be encouraging, full supporters and an enhancement to his ministry.













Pastor Williams is a young gifted Pastor, Preacher, Teacher and Musician. These are just a few of the God given gifts that have helped equip him as the dynamic leader that he is today. Pastor Williams is a true man of God who has yielded his life to God's work through the ministry at G.M.M.B.C. Just to list a few accomplishments of Pastor Williams,
  • Has served as the Youth Pastor for the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, San Diego, CA 1988 - 1995
  • Founder and President of Imani Urban Ministries, San Diego, CA
  • Pastor Williams served as Church Planter and Mentor for the North American Mission Board / Southern Baptist Convention
  • Instructor for San Diego Southern Baptist Set Free Ministry Pastor's School
  • Musician for Progressive Baptist District Association of Southern California 1995 - present
  • Treasurer for Williams' Brothers Ministries
Pastor Williams is one who truly loves God and all people. Pastor Williams has also committed himself by being a channel where God's blessing flows to the members and the community.

Pastor Williams often says, "If GOD can get a blessing through YOU, then HE will send one to YOU"
